EternalPWA keeps copies of pages a shopper has visited on their phone, so they still open on a weak or dropped connection.
Choose how pages load
Under EternalPWA, Offline and cache:
- Network first always shows the newest page and uses the saved copy only when offline.
- Fast, refresh in background shows the saved copy at once and updates it for next time.
- Cache first uses the saved copy whenever there is one.
What is never kept
wp-admin, the login page, previews, AJAX requests and the shop, cart, checkout and account pages always come from your server.
Keeping copies fresh
Publishing or updating a page, post or product makes every visitor fetch fresh copies on their next visit. Old copies are deleted when a new version starts. Pro users can also press Clear saved copies now.
Offline page
A page the visitor has never opened shows your offline message instead. Change the message under Offline page.
