EternalPWA turns your WordPress or WooCommerce store into an app shoppers install straight from the browser. There is no Play Store or App Store listing to create.
What you need
- WordPress 6.0 or later. WooCommerce 8.0 or later if you run a store.
- Your site on HTTPS. Browsers only install apps from secure sites.
- PHP 7.4 or later with the GD image library (standard on almost every host).
Install
- Download the plugin zip from your purchases on eternaltech.dev.
- In WordPress open Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the zip and press Install Now, then Activate.
- Open EternalPWA in the wp-admin menu. You land on Overview.
Set it up in three steps
- App icon. Open App icon and choose a square PNG, JPG or WebP of at least 512 by 512 pixels. Every size is made for you, including the round icon Android shows. Until you upload one, your WordPress Site Icon is used.
- App details. Check the app name, the name under the icon (up to 12 characters), the page the app opens at, and the toolbar and splash colours.
- Overview. Every check should be green: HTTPS, app icon, offline support and, on Pro, the install page. Each item that needs work has a button that takes you to the fix.
Try it on a phone
- Android: open your site in Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet. The install banner appears after a few seconds, or use the browser menu and choose Install app.
- iPhone and iPad: open your site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Unlock Pro
Push notifications, the app bar, the install page with QR code and analytics need a licence. Start the 7 day free trial or buy a plan, then paste the key under EternalPWA, Licence and press Activate.
